For more than 15 years, Sebastiano has dedicated himself to KAF, an often-undiagnosed condition, by attending the operating rooms and rehabilitation departments of the best international orthopaedic and sports medicine clinics, developing an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms, causes, complications, and rehabilitation approaches with the highest chance of success. He’s also part of the Committee of the International Arthrofibrosis Association and a contributor for the KNEEguru.co.uk website for knee rehabilitation with special ‘accent’ on arthrofibrosis and ACL injuries - the latter being the clinical research topic of his ongoing PhD. He co-founded the Sports Rehab PT clinics in Switzerland and, with the aim to help patients affected by such a complex knee condition (arthrofibrosis) now traveling to Switzerland from all over Europe, he established the European Knee Arthrofibrosis Center, hosted within the Sports Rehab PT clinics. The instructor is also a Clinical Researcher hired by the Service of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Department of Surgery, EOC, Lugano (Switzerland).
